  1. Day 1 Arrival Ahmedabad

    Meeting and assistance on arrival by our representative at the Ahmedabad International Airport . Transfer to the hotel. hand over and brief of the documents. Later take a sightseeing tour of Ahmedabad visiting the magnificent Mosque of Siddi Saiyad with its exquisite stone carvings, the beautiful Jama Masjid, white marbled Hathee Singh's Temple, Dada Hari Baoli, Shaking Minarets, Calico Textile Museum and Sabarmati Ashram started by Mahatma Gandhi, Kankaria Lake - The circular lake with an island garden in the middle. Return to the hotel for overnight stay.

  2. Day 2 Ahmedabad

    Morning after breakfast, take a tour of the leading specialized textile museum of India ‘Calico Museum’. Calico Museum has a rich collection of textile swatches of Indian origins that are found at famous archaeological sites in Egypt, Silk Sarees from all over India, Silk sarongs of double-ikat prepared at Patna especially for the markets of Indonesia, curtains & chintz completed during the Dutch, Portuguese & British colonial reign at Gujarat, Punjab’s floral embroidery, famous Kashmiri shawls, tie-and-dye work of 18th of century, opulently embroidered tent of Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan , Rajasthan’s royal attires, manuscripts & paintings on the cloths, spiritual painted description on cloth known as Kalamkari & Pichwai. Later if you wish you can visit the few other museums in Ahmedabad based on folk art collection. Overnight at the hotel.

  3. Day 3 Ahmedabad - Gondal (250 kms: 4 hrs)

    After breakfast, take a tour of the leading specialized textile museum of India ‘Calico Museum’. Overnight at the hotel.

    Note : Here the overnight stay will be at Riverside Palace/Orchard Palace, both are decorated with textiles from the former Maharanis' collections.

  4. Day 4 Gondal - Jetpur - Junagadh - Gondal (150 kms: 3 hrs)

    After breakfast, take an excursion to Jetpur famous for block and screen printings and is a centre for yarn-dyeing. Proceed further to Junagadh to visit the carpets of gem-encrusted, the Nawab’s tapestry in the museum and wardrobes. Historical Junagadh is known for its 03rd of century (BC) Buddhist ruins, medieval palace, complexes of tomb and Forts. Return to Gondal for overnight stay.

  5. Day 5 Gondal - Jamnagar (10 kms: 15mins) - Gondal

    After breakfast, visit the Vanzas of Jamnagar that are known for their Bandhani tie-and-dye sarees. Jamnagar is famous for its pearl fisheries, tie-and-dye fabrics and bandhini textile work. Later also take a sightseeing tour of Jamnagar visiting Lakhota fort located in the center of the Lakhota Lake. It was initially a palace that was converted into a museum in 1946. Kotha Bastion is an old well, the water of which can be drawn by blowing into a small hole in the floor. After visit return back to Gondal for overnight stay.

  6. Day 6 Gondal - Rajkot - Bhuj (275 kms: 4 - 5 hrs)

    After breakfast, check out from the hotel and drive to Bhuj. Enroute visit Watson Museum at Rajkot to see the skills of the craftsmanship in Gujarat and Rashtriya Shala. On arrival, transfer to the hotel. Overnight at the hotel.

  7. Day 7 Bhuj

    Morning after breakfast, take an excursion to the villages located near to Bhuj which are famous for its characteristic embroidery methods and see the handiwork of the villagers like weaving and the printing forms as block & Rogan. Stay overnight at Bhuj.

    Note : Optionally you can visit Kanch museum, the oldest in Gujrat. It has the largest collection of Kshatrapa inscriptions and diplays textiles, armoury, gold and silver ornaments and other exhibits belonging to the region.

  8. Day 8 Bhuj - Mandvi (60 kms: 1 hr)

    After breakfast check out from the hotel and drive to Mandvi,it is a tie-and-dye centre. Stay in a/c tented comfort of the royal resort by the private beach in the palace estate. After lunch, Visit the dhow-building yard to see ocean-worthy vessels being hand-built. Overnight at the resort.

  9. Day 9 Mandvi

    After breakfast visit the Rabari villages some of the most picturesque in Gujarat around Mandvi. The area is known for its Rabari and Bhungas embroidery.. The main attraction at Mandvi is the Vijay Vilas Palace, with beautiful gardens, water channels and marble fountains. It was constructed in the 1920’s and has all the elements of Rajput architecture with intricate carving on stone decorating the facade. This palace is often used as a setting for film shoots. Mandvi has some very beautiful houses with stone carving and plaster decorations belonging to rich merchants. Their unique architectural style reflects the fusion of Indian and European styles of architecture. Overnight at the resort.

  10. Day 10 Mandvi - Wadhwan (350 kms: 6 hrs)

    After breakfast, check out from the hotel and depart from Mandvi for Wadhwan. On arrival, transfer to the hotel. Wadhwan is a famous place for tie and dye work of Bandhani, metal crafts & weaving and is also a historical town surrounded by walls. Overnight at the hotel.

  11. Day 11 Wadhwan - Dasada (75 kms: 1½ - 2 hrs)

    After breakfast check out from the hotel and drive to Dasada, home for endangered Asiatic wild ass. On arrival, check in to the hotel. Later visit the place to see the women of Rabari working on distinctive embroideries. Here connect with the locals and use locally prepared materials and handicrafts that make you feel one with the place. Overnight stay at the hotel.

  12. Day 12 Dasada

    Today opt for a morning safari in the Little Rann of Kutch, a sanctuary for the endangered Asiatic Wild Ass. The wild ass is the distinctive variety found duly in Gujarat and nowhere else in the world. Enjoy the safari & watch the animals & migratory birds in their natural habitat. Later visit the pastoral Vadiara and Kharapat Rabaris of Dasada, known for its embroidery, the silk-weavers colony at Dasada, Ambala village of the Bharward shepherds and goatherds. During the tour, guests can shop for embroidery directly from the Bharwad women of Ambala and the Rabari women of Dasada. The weaving cooperative at Bajana and other artisans’ workshops can also be included in the tours. Other communities near Dasada are Padhars (primarily fishing people), the semi-nomadic Bajanias and Mirs, Jaths (Muslim herders) and the Siddis. Overnight at the resort.

  13. Day 13 Dasada - Patan - Modhera - Dasada (150 kms: 3 hrs )

    Morning after breakfast, take an excursion to Patan to see the working Salvis on Patola. Patola is considered as one of the finest silk textiles. Also watch the woven with the use of technique double-ikat. Take a tour of 11th of century’s Sun Temple at Modhera. Modhera Sun Temple is one of the most excellent examples of Hindu’s temple architecture at western India. This temple has been designed in such a way that the Sun's rays illuminate the sanctum at dawn, during the time of equinoxes. Later return to Dasada. Overnight at the hotel.

  14. Day 14 Dasada - Ahmedabad - Home Town ( 90 kms: 2 hrs )

    Transfer to the Ahmedabad airport to embark to your flight for hometown. On departure tour concludes with happy memories.
