Bijli Mahadev Temple:-This is one of the most famous and striking temple situated at an altitude of 2,438 meters where a 20 meter tall image is a special attraction for the tourists. From this temple an unobstructed view of kullu and parvati valleys extending all directions is available
Bajeshwar Mahadev Temple : This pyramidical temple of 8th Century A.D is situated about 200 meters in a plain between the road and the river Beas. It is embroidered with wonderful carvings on stone and sculpture in the Shikhara style.
Naggar :- Naggar was the capital of the Rajas of Kullu for about 1,400 years. It is famous for its castle and the Nicholas Roerich's Museum. It offers a delightful and extensive view especially of the North-West of the valley.
How To reach There
By Air:-The Bhuntar airport is 10kms.from Kullu. Domestic flights operated by Indian Airlines and Jagson Airlines . These flights Shuttle between Delhi and Kullu and between Shimla and Kullu . It takes just 90 minutes from delhi to reach Kullu where taxis and buses are available.
By Train:-To reach Kullu the nearest railhead is Jogindernagar which is 125 km. from kullu. It is connected to all major Indian cities via Chandigarh which is 267 km away from Kullu.
By Road :- Kullu has a god network of motorable roads. State owned bus services run by Himachal Pradesh Road Transport Corporation connecting kullu with the nearest cities. Kullu is connected to Delhi , Pathankot ,Chandigarh and Shimla .Deluxe, Semi Deluxe and Air Conditioned buses shuttle during the tourist season. Besides this taxis are also available.
