Hadimba Temple:-Hadimba temple is one of the most amous temples in the region. This is a four-story wooden temple which is situated in he middle of a forest called the Dhungiri Van Vihar that is why this temple is also known as Dhungiri temple.
Rohtang Pass :- Rohtang Pass is the higest point at the altitude of 4,1111 m about 50 km from the manali on the highway of Keylong.. Keylong, One can access the Lahaul and Spiti Valleys only through this pass.It opens from june to November every year.. A beautiful lake name Dasohar is on the left side of this pass which makes it more beautiful.
Tibetan Temple: -MAnali is also famous for its Tibetan Temples. There are many old and famous Tibetan temples to the south of the bus stand and a small handicraft center is also there which depicts the Tibetan culture.
Arjun Gufa: It is situated on the left bank of river Beas, just 5 km from Manali near the village of Prini. It is to be believed that here Arjuna practiced austerities to get Pashupata Ashtra a weapon from Lord Indra
Vashisht Hot Springs.:- Just three km from the Manali is is situated a small village of Vashisht.This place is famous for an ancient Ram temple, and sacred hot springs.
HOW TO REACH
BY AIR: - The Bhuntar airport is the nearest airport, 52 km south of Manali. Cabs , taxis and local buses are easily available to reach the Manali city It takes just two hours to reach the manali from Bhuntar via road.There are various domestic flights from delhi , shimla and chandigarh for Bhuntar.
By Rail :- One can reach Manali by rail as well .The narrow gauge railhead is jogindernagar which is 135 km away and the nearest broad gauge railheads are at Chandigarh which is 310 Km and Ambala which is 355km .
By Road :- Manali is well connected to the major parts of India via network of roads.The regular bus service is provided for kullu, and Manali from Delhi , Chandigarh and Shimla. One can opt from the various traveling options available such as Delux buses, Ordinary buses run by Himachal Pradesh Tourism Development Corporation (HPTDC), Himachal Pradesh Road Transport Corp. (HRTC).
