  1. Day 1Arrive in Delhi

    On arrival at Delhi Airport you will be met by our representative to be transferred to your hotel for stay in Delhi overnight. DELHI: The capital city of India, and said to be one of the oldest existing cities in the world consists of two parts - NEW DELHI, the city created in 1911 as the imperial capital of India by the British and the OLD DELHI, the Muslim capital of India between the 17th and 19th centuries.

  2. Day 2 Sightseeing in Delhi

    Delhi tourism places to visit - Visit Old & New Delhi with an expert Delhi tour guide. Start by visiting the Jama Masjid; Enjoy a ride of cycle rickshaw in Delhi through the crowded bazaar and shopping streets of Chandni Chowk; Visit Raj Ghat - the cremation site of Mahatma Gandhi. Post lunch; explore New Delhi, India Gate & Rajpath; Rashtrapati Bhawan - the President's House; Humayun's Tomb; Qutab Minar and the Bahai Temple.

  3. Day 3 Board train from Delhi to Jaipur (4.5hrs journey)

    Early morning pick up from hotel will be arranged to be transferred to New Delhi Railway Station. Board the Delhi Jaipur express train (Delhi Ajmer Shatabdi Timings: DEP: 0605 ARR: 1030). On arrival, you will be picked up from Jaipur Junction Railway Station and transferred for check-in to your hotel in Jaipur.

    THE PINK CITY: There are three parts to Jaipur; Amer (the old city which was the previous capital of the Kachwahas, clans of Rajputs). Jaipur (the walled city built in the 18th century) and the new city (which has grown outside the walled city). Day at leisure to explore markets or watch a Bollywood movie at Raj Cinema Theatre.

  4. Day 4 Sightseeing in Jaipur

    Jaipur sightseeing tour Places to visit in Jaipur: Start by visiting Amber/Amer Fort; take a ride to its lofty heights on a jeep or a decked up elephant. Later visit the City Palace Jaipur, Palace of Winds (or Hawa Mahal), Jantar Mantar (Maharaja Jai Singh's astronomy park).

  5. Day 5 Board Train Jaipur to Agra (5 hrs journey)

    Early morning departure from Jaipur to Agra by train (Train timings: DEP: 0615 ARR: 1100). On arrival check-in to your hotel AGRA: The former capital of 'Hindustan' was transformed from a village to a city befitting the glory of mighty Mughals by two great emperors: AKBAR & SHAH JAHAN. Major tourist destinations of its splendid Mughal-era buildings are the Taj Mahal, Agra Fort and Fatehpur Sikri (all of which are UNESCO World Heritage sites) After lunch, visit the Agra Fort and late evening visit Mehtab Bagh get a view of Taj Mahal at sunset.

  6. Day 6 Visit Agra and Board overnight train to Kathgodam (11hrs journey)

    Start with a sunrise Taj Mahal visit along an expert Indian tour guide. The monument, one of the Seven Wonders of the World was built by Emperor Shah Jahan in honor of his love. Later visit the Akbar mausoleum in Sikandra and Fatehpur Sikri. Evening board a superfast A/C express train from Agra to Kathgodam (Train Timings: DEP: 1755 ARR: 0505).

  7. Day 7 Arrival at Kathgodam Railway station

    On arrival, you will be met by a local representative who will drive you to the resort. A journey of 3hrs passing through Bhimtal & Almora, pass orange and lemon trees, apple orchards and groves of cherry blossom and scarlet rhododendron. This unique Himalayan trip involves gentle walking of 4-6hrs per day (approx 10kms.) with overnight stay in renovated village houses. Trekking in Himalayas in this Kumaon region from village to village allows you to mingle with the local people and experience village life. The terrain is hilly but the trekking is through the Himalayan foothills and is not overtly demanding - thus suitable for anyone with normal fitness.

    The walk each day ends at a different village in a private accommodation in village houses. The village houses have been renovated to add toilet and bathroom to it, without spoiling the look & feel of these homes. Food cooked is hygienic and mineral water is served.

  8. Day 8 Trekking in Himalayas

    Start with an easy walk to Chittai. Visit the Chital (Bells) temple. The trek takes you through the Chir pine forests with good views of the Himalayan range. Alternate option would be to drive to Binsar to take an uphill trek to ‘Zero Point’, the highest point in the Binsar Wildlife Sanctuary. Enjoy the walk through dense oak and rhododendron forests with an incredible view of the valleys.

  9. Day 9 Experience Village life

    Spend a day in the village to interact with the local and take a walk to the nearby villages admiring the rustic traditional lifestyle and the culture. Engage in a Bird watching tour at the resort too.

  10. Day 10 - 11 Kumaon Village Trek

    The treks vary from gentle to moderately steep between 1500 - 2200 mts. A local guide accompanies you on these 5-6 hr treks to the surrounding valleys and mountains; Enjoy the scent of pine and cedar forests, the fields of spinach, mustard and millet, the sight of pumpkins and gourds drying on the terraces of village huts. You will come across waterfalls and rivers on this trek. Enjoy a picnic lunch sitting on big boulders of a river-bed. In addition to enjoying the calm & serene village life, you may choose to visit the temple structures of Jageshwar, Dandeshwar and Kuber.

  11. Day 12 Drive to Kathgodam

    En-route stop at Lakhudiar to have a look at the pre-historic rock paintings. On arrival at the Kathgodam Railway station, board the evening train back to Delhi.
